[Jo...]
Anyone have a method for extracting min and max points from this ? I have a part with dozens of arc segments. I need radial DISTANCES . Or would a formula with (max deviation + nominal radius) give me the same results ? Polar measurement doesn't give me what I want, it appears to be to the constructed feature, not actual points. [To...]
Measure your circle. Create a Radius Measurement characteristic, found under Size > Standards. This will produce an individual result for every point in your circle feature. If you only want to report the Max or Min, go to Size > More > Maximum Result or Minimum Result, select the circle. If you don't want to report the results from the other points, go into either Characteristics Setting Editor > Printout > Mark and turn the Radius Measurement ON. Or, in the Multiple Printout window, select Mark Characteristics and turn the Radius Measurement ON. In the Multiple Printout window, tick the Hide checkbox at lower left.
