[Cl...]
We have two 543 O-inspects, one has the older style CFS, the other has the newer Dot Scan. I transferred a program from the machine with the CFS to run on the machine with the Dot Scan. When the dot scan scans a 2d curve on the part, there is a "33 collision" I corrected this by moving the curves farther away from the vertical surface on the part that it was colliding with. Runs fine now. Any ideas why would this is happening? Same part, same strategy. The only variable is the Dot Scan.
[La...]
Are the Dot Scan and CFS the same measuring range? With the 1mm you'll have a working distance of 10.5, with the 3mm you'll have a working distance of 21.5, and the 10mm a working distance of 55mm. Perhaps your DotScan and CFS are not the same measuring range, therefore some parts can be measured on one, but not on the other?
