Suggested inline air filters for CMM air feed?

Our Contura is hooked up to the common air feed for our whole shop, and it's really starting to show. The filter cups on the machine itself are catching quite a bit of oil in them, but I can see enough of the stuff in the tube past the filters that I'm starting to worry about it. I'd like to make some kind of filter recommendation to our facilities crew, but although I know what requirements Zeiss specifies the feed air should meet, I don't know what filter units actually meet those requirements. If anyone happens to have a suggested filter model, it would be appreciated.

Not 100% sure what the actual specs are from Zeiss but we use a Tsunami filter setup that includes Water separator, Oil coalescing filter, Activated Carbon Filter, and a moisture minder auto drain valve.

They are a little pricey but nothing has reached our CMMs since installing them.

Oh hey it's this post. I got probably that exact Tsunami filter several months ago. I don't actually know if it does its job or not, as we never removed and cleaned the filter cups or feed lines on the machine, and there are still droplets of oil left over in them, so any newly introduced oil would be impossible to spot. We've got the automatic drain emptying out to a collection container, which has never seen so much as a drop of oil or water since the filter was hooked up. However, I have seen what appears to be oil leaking from around the tops of the canister walls, and the Teflon tape on the first stage inlet threads is definitely oil-colored. No oil contamination in the tube leading from the filter to the CMM filter assembly, though.

Yeah, I was rummaging through the forums yesterday and saw this one unanswered. Just thought I would put out a reply.
Are you no longer seeing the oil at the cmm?

We have 4 installed. Only one has oil coming out of the auto drain. We had one CMM that the lines were awful with oil and nothing has come from that drain either but the CMM has improved. Before we put the filters on, this cmm actually spurred the need for it. It was literally dripping oil from the Z axis Air bearings. Very bad. It is an older brown and sharp that hadn't seen much care before I started. I was complaining about it for a year before they finally got some kind of air treatment for that CMM.

I don't think there's any oil being fed through the final air line anymore. The CMM's filter cups still have some residual puddles at the bottom from before, and the paper cup I put under the drain tube a month ago has the barest hint of oil residue in it. Certainly nothing like your horror story has happened. There are still drops of oil stuck to the inside of the final feed tube, but so far nothing has deposited on the tube from the Tsunami filter to the CMM, so I believe it's working. At some point I should probably order a replacement filter set, and maybe a replacement membrane dryer too, since it's probably contaminated.
