[Ke...]
Hi all, I have a brand new (less than 6 months old) Prismo with a Vast Gold head. When I conduct the qualification of our probes, I've noticed that the master probe has a standard deviation of 1.55 microns, while all others have standard deviations of less than 0.5 microns. I've tried recleaning the master probe as well as the reference sphere multiple times, and each time that I conduct the probe qualification the standard deviation of the master probe is right around this value. Is this something to be concerned about, and if so, what could be causing this? A little more background information - we remove the reference sphere from the table after each qualification session, and have some tight tolerances on our parts (±0.0002"). Thank you for your help! Hello, check your calibration sphere certificate that the diameter or radius value matches the data in the calibration parameters match that of the certificate.
