chnge stylus and remove

I need someone to refresh me on how to remove and change a stylus that already excess. I have a (5) star stylus system, I would like to remove and not replace #3 ( right side) and then replace stylus #2 (back) with a smaller diameter stylus and shorter shank.
Keep the same name for the stylus. Then, if I remember right you would have to do a manual calibration on the one I changed to the smaller diameter stylus.

Replace what ever styli in the star probe.

Go into stylus system under the CMM tab, click the styli position you want to change from the drop down

Then select Qualify Stylus. Then click yes to overwrite data

Hit the center of the sphere and away you go. Stylus data will be changed to new styli

To delete a styli go into stylus sys management. Choose the styli in the left pane. Highlight Stylus in the drop downs, and it should show you styli available in the next pane. Highlight the one you want to delete, right click and delete
