O-Ring Measurement

I am tryin to measure the gap between an inner O-ring measured as a circle and an outer O-Ring measured as a circle. So there should be a gap in between these two circles measuring .130 or so but I am not sure how to get this measurement. Anybody have a similar issue. If you look at attachment imagine the O-ring not there. The inner wall and outer. I am trying to measure the gap. Ideas?

Do you have PCM? it seems very easy to create a Large radius - small radius measurement in "result element".
getActual("Circle1").radius- getActual("Circle2").radius

Or, if you want super easy you can take a simple 2 point measurement from the inner groove wall to the outer groove wall.
Use a 2ndary alignment, the diameter of the inside bore as your X&Y zero, and the top face as your Z Zero
That would help extend probe life as well.
Set your speed down pretty slow.

If you have curve, you can measure the two circles as 2D curves and use the "Curve distance" Characteristic. It can output the average width, the maximum width, or the minimum width of your O-Ring gap.

Brett stole my idea but this is what I use for features that hold a seal or gasket. Then you can find your smallest or largest width. I have found that recalling regular features into a curve can be a pretty handy trick.
