[Si...]
See Diam 23.00 MM It is based off of 2 Pins. I have two circles measured. Seems like i need 1 more feature to recall. Should it not be 2 circles and maybe create different features from the two pins?IMG_20190913_112854.jpg
[Th...]
They look like they're 180 degrees from each other, so wouldn't a 2D polar distance accomplish the same thing?
[Ro...]
Maybe create a line with the 2 pins and the whatever you use as a center datum .... Then the "Depth" of the theoretical line would be the distance across from center to center. Then you could also use that line for your angle measurement which i'm sure is somewhere on the print. [Mi...]
I usually create two 2d polar distances from the hole to the center. You can mask these, then create a Result Element characteristic that reports the sum of these distances. A single 2d polar distance between the holes should report the same, but if the bolt patterns aren't concentric, these two methods will show different results. [Si...]
I used 3D as 2D requests a Datum. It worked fine. Thanks all.
[Mi...]
Just be aware that a 3D distance will include a Z-component in the distance calculation. That is, if the holes' strategies involve measuring them at different heights, then the result will be larger than the actual distance. This may or may not be an issue, depending on the precision you're looking for.
[Me...]
Good afternoon note that what you are asking for is a diameter not a distance I was doing some tests this could helpPrueba 1.zipprueba1.png
[Me...]
I hope and it works in the previous program I had an error in the evaluation but I already corrected it now what I am trying is to verify the intersections with formulas but I still cannot find the formula indicates only how much with the hypotenuse that is 0.50 in and the angle of 90 degrees someone knows the formula to be able to determine X, YPrueba 2.pngPrueba 1.zip
