Create and qualify new stylus system for STL import module

Hello!
I have recently activated the option for importing STL files created from 3D scanner of the brand Comet 6 by Zeiss. Now the machine configuration named STL_import does not have a stylus system set up yet. I am sharing the screenshots here for your reference. It would be a great help if anyone could walk me through the process of: setting up a stylus system (I guess it's going to be a virtual stylus/probe system since I will be running measurements on scanned STL data/3D point cloud data and not actual solid part) and qualifying the stylus system.
Thanks in advance! 2012_2d5d44e0ff6ea8f7c685bd55c0d9d2be.png

You have to set up a Vast sensor under the Machine tab. I discovered this when I was trying to evaluate STL data with no success when I had set my machine tab to no sensor.

There are good instructions if you go into Calypso help and look up STL Measurement > Preparatory settings.

The Comet is pretty amazing, good luck with your measurements.

I never used the STL evaluation much, but a while back I called support on this and as far as I remember you only need a stylus system for technical reasons (because this is how Calypso works). But it's sufficient to have a single stylus with radius 0. You can even use the master probe if you set its radius to zero.
