[Ma...]
Go to CAD/ Modify CAD Entities and click on All Features visible and see if that brings back the model. Mark
[Ro...]
This happens to me, and going to all surfaces visible doesn't help, clicking on the surface or wireframe button doesnt help, the only thing that "Brings Back" my model is to click on a profile (characteristic) that has a graphical output, for some reason that makes everything snap back into place. FYI i found that clicking on the button that automatically sizes the model to the screen size is POISON.nooooo.JPG

[La...]
Weird. That's my settings and I'm having no issues. From what I recall, most of my issues with this came up in Calypso 2016. What version are you running, and which service pack are you on? You can see this on the home screen when you open the software or go to Help > About. [Ow...]
Is it an actual imported cad model or just a wire frame created from feature recognition? Not sure what version you're running and it maybe a forgone conclusion but, if you've not worked with Calypso a lot, definitely try going thru the "show cad" buttons at the bottom. I remember certain versions of calypso being challenged with this and clicking thru each show tab eventually brought the model or wireframe back. [Ro...]
Is there a way to attach a video to this thread? I captured the disappearance and reappearance of a cad model. Its about a minute long, probably less.

[Te...]
I saw this issue with Calypso 2015 with windows 10 haven't seen it since. I am not running Windows 10 so it could be a windows 10 bug. Everyone with this issue are you running windows 10?
[No...]
I have windows 10 on 3 machines and no issues at all. But there was a certain older Calypso version (which I don't remember) where the model could get "out of sight, meaning it somehow moved beyond the viewing plane ("outside of the screen" so to speak) and was only brought back by the "view all" button. [Ri...]
There is a known bug when using SolidWorks models that will send your model out into another universe. I have had this happen where my model coordinates read in the Millions (Not a typo) of inches from CMM Home position. Please sign in to view this quote. My work around: 1. Select from the Tab Menu "CAD" 2. Select "CAD Model Control" 3. Select "Hide CAD View" 4. Close the program, click Save. 5. Reopen the program 6. Select from the Tab Menu "CAD" 7. Select "CAD Model Control" 8. Select "Hide CAD View" (Deselect) (It will have a check mark in front of it).
[Gr...]
I once had a problem with this. Turns out, somebody reorganized some of the folders with the inspection files. I undid that, and moved them all with Save As instead. Drag and drop or renaming in Windows File Explorer seems to cause problems. Everything else worked fine, I just could not get the visuals. [Ri...]
I have this problem or a similar one, im guessing it is the same. The following quote is from Zeiss Please sign in to view this quote. This is how I remedy the disappearing CAD model. 1. Hide the CAD View 2. Save and Close the program 3. Re-open the program 4. UnHide the CAD View Occasionally, I have to toggle the model from wire frame to solid Once you start to see your model, DO NOT use the "Display all CAD features in the CAD view" button. [Am...]
I had this same problem last year, I eventually called Zeiss for help and they could not figure out what was going on. He created a new config file and everything was fine after that. He requested a copy of my original config file so they could look into what was happening but I never heard back from them about it.
