[Na...]
I am experiencing problems when exporting curve points of airfoil scans. The part type of interest is a full annular outer guide vane with several different integral guide vane designs. To save programming time when checking the part using Calypso I utilized a polar rotation option to eliminate the need to redundantly program identical geometry by conveniently choosing airfoils with an adjacent duplicate. The blade analysis/development of the table 1 data is being done by exporting the probe center point data. The problem I am experiencing is that when I export the curve feature data sets I am generating two different text files as one would expect with using the polar rotation option. Upon closer examination of the data sets I am finding that the first data set is valid actual data but the second data set is a "nominal"/"definition" file that matches the theoretical points almost perfectly. I am struggling to come up with a way to export the second data set that was obtained through the polar rotation option. Any suggestions?
