[Mi...] Posted August 27, 2019 Share Posted August 27, 2019 Well Shawn, you and I are going in opposite directions. I finally got rid of my laptop and went to a workstation. The ergonomics using a laptop is horrible and the small screen makes it nasty to do any work with any type of magnification. Went with a dual monitor but then the portability goes away. [Si...] Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 We just recently did this. here are the Specs. I also have a NVIDIA Quadro P3200 Graphic Driver. Just recently had a CAD Freeze issue in Calypso which we found out that you must update your Graphics card directly thru NVIDIA because the Dell Update will mess it up or update incorrectly. So just some advice in case you move forward with the laptop and see the CAD Locking up. Zeiss Support fixed this and now we know what to do next time if it happens again.
