Whisker Plots

I've been asked to create whisker plots for some parts. I've never worked with whisker plots before, can Calypso generate them? Maybe in Pi-Web?

Yes, there is a Box Plot inside of PiWeb Reporting. You would need to create a report that adds this, but it is there.

Like Richard said, Piweb can do it but you'll be pulling your hair out trying to figure out how. If you know Python you can create these easily in Matplotlib. Whenever I need plots that are different from the default templates I do this instead of banging my head against the wall trying to understand Piweb.
Maybe Piweb is easier than I make it out to be, I don't know.

PiWeb is a fairly user friendly piece of software. The only time it gets complicated is when you are adding custom variable statements.

You can easily see a box plot by using the Group by function on a line plot, for example.

In the side bar > No grouping > Group Data by > Measurement attribute

So if I'm looking at a run chart of a certain characteristic, and I want to split by Machine #, or Cavity #, I would do that here.
