[Za...]
Hi colleges, some time ago i begun use self-centring point to measur littel gears (gear module 0,4) stylus with DK0.8. By my program operator measure a lot of parts and i sure that it have no mistakes. But we broke a lot of stylus during measuring this parts. Is it normal? [He...]
When doing self centering and the sphere "falls" of a surface it will travel much faster than the normal probing speed and that might break the small stylus. The speed depends on the probing force so try to reduce the probing force and see if it helps.
