Extra points on plane

Gentleman, I am having a problem on measurement of a plane, I am taking say 40 points on a plane to see its flatness, but when I run the program some how it is taking much more points and its taking points where originally I never took a point, many times it keeps taking points at straight single line, of course I avoided a hole while taking points, but when running the program probe went inside hole for a point, I am very new to calypso, worked on many different software but this is new to me.

do u have pics how u did the Points on the plane?

Sounds like u made a freesurface and the Points are there to generate the moving for the probe.

When you open up the Strategy window, do you see a Polyline entry? If so, highlight/select Polyline and click the 2nd icon from the left, top row (icon looks like a die with 4 points on it). It will ask you if you want to convert the poly to points. Click OK and it will return your original points.
