Create 2 reports from single program

We are creating new programs that we would like to output 2 custom reports - one for us with all the features and reference data for our CNC operators, and one for our customer with only characteristics that they want.
I tried multi-reports and get 2 reports, one full one (for us) but somehow I screwed up in the Def of Multiple Reports dialog box?
(I ticked off the box to 'hide selected characteristics' on the second custom report, and had selected several in the Characteristic tab)
So I get the 'customer' 2nd report, but no characteristics are output. Could someone point me in the correct direction? It seems like I've derailed on the way to Report-ville.
Any help would be much appreciated!

*** It seems I stumbled across a solution. I tried using 'mark' instead of 'mask' the reduced customer report characteristics and viola! It worked..... proof that even a blind squirrel finds and acorn..... 🤣

If you have pcm you could dump results into a very simple excel or txt report, its not as nice as the default printout but it would be something.
The problem would be to get calypso to measure features that aren't on the default printout.
Im thinking that if there is something in the postsettings that references a masked characteristic, there will be a popup window that comes up at the end saying "do you want to measure these features" or something like that. so it may work.

Or........

you could fill the remainder of the first page with text element notes with things like comments or maybe some not very useful duplicate info from the header, but then the 2nd page will be the setup dims that you can use and discard.
