[Wi...]
How come Calypso allows me to get an intersection plane to a cirle once and then i cant get it to do the same for the other circle... [Ro...]
Your features are green, so im ass-u-me you've ran these features in simulation or online. if its a tangent circle, and calypso measures it undersize, there may not be an actual intersection of the Circle & Plane. Possible Remedy 1, Highlight all your features, right click and select "delete Actuals", this will make your features as if they have never been ran before, and will go back to nominal sizes everywhere. Possible Remedy 2, use 5 touch points for the circles, make sure the last point of the circle is exactly on the line where the plane & circle meet. Possible Remedy 3, if you created these circles & plane by selecting "Extract Features", then went in and messaged the nominal values to your print values, you may have undone any overlaps. [Wi...]
Roberto you rock man.... that did the trick. I used space points and constucted the circle from them. Again i was perplexed 🙂 thank you
[To...]
Is the purpose of your question to determine where the end of the circle is? If you put a tolerance on the location of the circle center (X, Y or Z), technically, that is the same point.
[Wi...]
These engineers i work with seem to like tangents more than center points lol..... i have been fussing at them about it so maybe the future will reflect more center points 🙂
