[Da...] Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Attached is a snip of a True Position callout that I feel would be better defined as profile but I am being asked to measure it as is. I'm not sure the Calypso software will facilitate this, and I need more coffee. Is this even a legitimate callout? It seems wrong to me, some insight would be much appreciated! Thanks! [Me...] Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Looks legit. True position of a width to the centerline of -B-. It's a linear position in 1 axis +/-.0005. If the sides are planes you can create a symmetry plane from them and use that for your position. [Ro...] Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 I agree with robert. Depending on your situation you could do this as a symmetry plane, Symmetry line, or Symmetry point. Either way make sure to select X only in your TP dropdown.
