Variable Filepath

I would like to use a "button" to open a blueprint from PiWeb. I want to use (for instance: ${Qdb.Part(1001)}) as an argument in my filepath. What is the syntax? I tried backslashes, as the manual suggests... but I'm having no luck.

I've had success using variable file paths, but I've only linked to Additional Data on the server itself. I would upload the drawing as PartNumber.pdf and use ${Qdb.Part(1001)}) which would call up the drawing of choice.

Are you trying to load a file from a network directory or from the server?

It's a network filepath. Would this make a difference?

I'm going through the release notes for Calypso 2019 and I see that there is the ability to use variables in the File path now. It's on page 79.
