[Ra...] Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 I think there have been some updates made to the computer for the O-Inspect and I can't pull in a .step file anymore. I'm still able to pull it in on our remote Calypso seat, but when I go to the O-Inspect my only options are the .acis and .dxf. Do I need it converted to one of these formats to pull in the CAD model on the O-Inspect? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had to rename it to .stp 2.)You have to purchase an add on to use the step files. Not sure what the cost is on that. Now, all this is based on Calypso software not O-Inspect ?? [Th...] Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 Recent versions of Calypso filter for both .stp and .step, and both are imported without issue. The data format in the file is the same either way. The O-Inspect machines are driven by Calypso as well. What sort of updates were made? If the online machine could import STEP before then it sounds like maybe the license file is missing or wasn't re-upped for whatever Calypso version you're running?
