Reference sphere change

Hello guys

Can anyone help me to know about installation of reference sphere/change the reference sphere 30 mm to 8 mm, why because I have to qualify my small star probe.

And I want to know about tilt and sphere coverage terms.how these affected the probe qualification.

What happened when the reference sphere place like straight as 0°/45°/90° etc.

Please explain detailed
