Serial number referencing RSH Sphere Holder

Good afternoon,
I have what I believe to be a RSH-214 with a DK30 reference sphere. (only the sphere has a S/N, they don't serialize their holders.)
I couldn't help but notice that the CMM doesn't know that my reference sphere is mounted to a RSH holder, as the option is greyed out.

I presume that I will have to create a new reference sphere in the "reference sphere manager". However, I only have one reference sphere at this time. As such, if I go to create a new RSP(reference sphere profile) and I enter in the serial number which is shared by my 1st RSP, it alters the new serial number so the two aren't identical.

Logic says that this is for nothing more than reference and traceability, but this being Calypso anything is possible.

Does it matter what I put here? it's not referencing for calculation/data right?
