Wow, that looks fancy. They probably even fixed all of the Germanglish that used to be in it.


I've got a few Zeiss training manuals myself.

Mr. Gallo, if you find Calypso training materials incomprehensible, you should've seen the UMESS training books. Those of us who trained UMESS all used the same strategy. Hand out the book. Tell customers it could be a useful reference document. (It wasn't). Then train customers how to measure their parts with the software never mentioning the training material again.

UMESS and USOFT without forums and no training... I suppose things have gotten a little better!

Randy, I'm not so sure. The first bits of information I handed out in my UMESS Basic, Advanced, KUM, and Strata class was the phone numbers for phone support and my cell phone. I always encouraged customers to call whenever they were jammed up on some problem.
