How do I get the Units of Measure to appear on the Report ( PiWeb)

You would think there would be something in the Header toggles. Other than manually typing it in the text box or something. How can I find this?

You will have to add it to your standard protocol.

You cannot have it in the header, unless all measurements use the same unit of measurement, but if you have length and angle measurements in you inspection plan, it will be blank.

It's best to add a line to the left of feature comment inside the standard protocol and add the characteristic attribute that I listed above.

I spent a week looking at each and every available variable (and punching in random numbers for Qdb...) only to find "Units" isn't supported - very many thanks to you! I can get back to wasting time elsewhere in PiWeb....

I sincerely hope this and other bugs/omissions get fixed.

Recource>Utilities>Text element

I use mine to display the part rev.
I name the text element "Part Rev" and inside i just have the A, B, C or whatever
The same could be done for Units.

Additionally I also use PCM for the part rev, i store the data in a parafile in each individual program folder.
So if the customer uprevvs the part(s) we are working on for something that has nothing to do with the CMM (material, laser markings, packaging) i don't have to open and edit 100 programs, i can do a windows search and in less than an hour (its happened) have all the programs up to date with new rev information.
