[Ch...] Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 Could you measure each segment with an individual curve. Then recall all of the curves into a circle with Outer Tangential evaluation settings? I'm fairly certain the company we make this for will be using a Zeiss as well to inspect & based on our regularly contracted parts I believe they want/use Least Squares. [Ri...] Posted June 13, 2019 Share Posted June 13, 2019 I'm honestly not for sure how much it affects a diameter measurement, but I know I've seen it heavily affect a roundness measurement (especially as the out of shape condition goes up).
