O-Inspect Cad Model Alignment

I was wondering if there is a way on the O-Inspect after loading the CAD model into Calypso, to do a base alignment with only the Camera to overlay the CAD in respect to where it is on the table. I know it can be done using probing first for the Base Alignment but can it be done with the Camera only as not to have a program that uses probing just for the Base Alignment. I have tried a couple of different ways but very new to the O-Inspect and can seemed to get it to work without moving the CAD manually to the features taken with the Camera to make the Base Alignment.

Yes. There is nothing that stops you from doing that. You still build a base alignment, and perform the manual alignment if you are using the camera as you would with the probe.

Just remember that the camera is a 2D sensor. If I'm using the camera only, I use a Start Alignment with a manual point to create an XYZ zero point. From there creating your Base Alignment with the camera should put your model in line with the part.
If your features for the BA are out of focus, add an Auto focus point for your Z axis zero for the BA.
