[Pa...]
Help! Am exporting points to excel via text files. I'm including nominal & actual points of circles picked from CAD model. But the nominal circle points exported from Calyspo do not fall exactly back on the nominal path of the reconstructed circle (using Pythag). Maybe 40% of the nominals fall up to .0002-.0003 off the ideal circle. Have no idea why. Have tried exporting using both base alignment and alignment options. Not rounding off the data--using all 8 decimal points. And the nominal diameter in the CAD model shows exact. When I export other features from that CAD model (specifically cylinders, not circles) the nominals drop back on the circle exactly where they should. I'm thinking recalculating nominal geometry (how) or healing the CAD model? Any ideas?
