Data to Datalyzer

I've asked this question before and got busy with something else.

I need to transfer data from a Calypso measurement plan to Datalyzer.
Can I use the fet, or chr files from the results folder for this? How do I do this?

Thank you.

Do you have PCM?
We send TXT files to WinSPC, i figure datalyzer is similar......
It's a very sucky process but i do it this way because i need to be able to 100% match the outputs from our PCDmis programs, so there will be no need to make adjustments if a parts is run on a Zeiss or Calypso, the reports are identical down to Capitalizations & spaces.
Then of course you need someone on the IT side who can grab the reports and make them populate. I have Zero idea on how that happens.

Thanks, I figured it out. Resources/Name for output files/For this measurement plan/Name of output file variable, and then from the Output file drop down - choose the characteristic/Feature/Header text files, and send them were you want.

  • 5 years later...

A bit late maybe but DataLyzer offers a full automatic importer from CMM data. Even the SPC structure is automatically created.

So if you have 2 years of data you start the importer and after the lunch break all data of your CMM is converted to SPC data including full SPC capabilitiy reports options for FAI etc. ails
