Line or point offset

Need help offsetting a line or a point. I only see plane offset. ❓ any help will be appreciated.

I add a point, switch it to a "theoretical feature", then populate the x-, y- and z-value boxes with formulas tying them to the point I originally probed.

If the direction of the offset isn't parallel to any of the base alignment axes, I suggest defining an additional alignment in the appropriate direction to make it easier.

That probably didn't make much sense, but if you have a specific example I might be able to explain more clearly.
