[Si...]
Hi, I have put up a post in the past, view a bunch of times but no responses. Can this get passed to the devs. About 6 months ago these 5 screens just started to pop up at Calypso Launch. You can close out the License ones just fine, However if you look at the 5th screen and DO NOT CHOOSE THE TOP OPTION... the software goes thru a bunch of fast random menus and you receive errors. A Big Blue screen with the error pops up. If you attempt to close that out... you get picture 2... Zeiss tech support did not get back to us on this and our IT Person just restored from previous date and all was well... Well, It happened again last night with a new Hire who did not listen and decided to close it out. How do I get these to NOT pop up on Calypso Launch? And why does the probe database become obsolete if closed incorrectly.Calypo Probe Crash issue.pngGreenshot_2019-01-29_09-47-00.png
[De...]
Really do not know what you have going on there, might try and look at the error log it mentions if you haven't already. As for getting this in front of people from Zeiss if they answer you based on something on here I would be pretty surprised, usually the only way to get movement from them is through the hotline. [Si...]
Tech response was it is a Security/Permissions issue. Have out IT guy look into it.....I just want to shut this menu off from prompting up on Startup.
[No...]
The probe db errors are usually caused by: - permission problems (as you were already told) - SQL Server problems (may include db permission problems) - faulty probe db Tell your IT guy to actually look at the log file mentioned. It should have valuable details about the error. The other screens I don't know.
