[Je...]
We just installed Calypso 2018 on 4 workstations. 2 connect to Contura G2s and 2 offline seats. They were upgraded from version 2015. What are the recommended upgrades to make to the PCs to get rid of the system lag we are experiencing when running calypso? Looking to start with RAM. It appears that there are 2 sticks of 8gb. 1 in each bank of 4 slots The processors are 4 core 2.8ghz GFX card is a K2000.

[Je...]
Yes it is. Everything other than Calypso runs just fine. The processing time for nearly every action in Calypso however is significantly longer. Even scrolling the feature menu lags behind the mouse wheel by a few seconds
[Wo...]
I think there was a bug in early versions of 2018 that caused very slow scrolling. Make sure you've got the latest service pack. As for updating the system - definitely upgrade the CPU to the highest possible clock. I've noticed that Calypso's performance is heavily clock rate dependent. When I installed a 3.7Ghz Xeon I've noticed a big boost in responsiveness. But my system's performance is taxed heavily by dual 4K monitors, so maybe that's why it needed higher clock. K2000 should be fine for Calypso - whenever I check the performance monitor the graphics card is barely utilized. Have fun!
