Star stylus system on XXT

Is it okay to use a star stylus system on an XXT head? When using an X/Y probe, my vectors are not normal to the surfaces. I have no issues with a Z Minus probe. I think the cause is during calibration, if I take a point with a Z minus probe, but the system thinks I'm using a Y probe, the vector is at an angle. If I take a point with a Y probe but the system thinks I have a Z probe, the vector is normal to the surface.

Is this going to cause any measurement error?

I don't have XXT, but VAST XT instead, but I think it should be the same. What do you see under your stylus system management?
