[Ri...]
Is there a way to project Points or Center Line elements from features/links/constructions up to the nearest plane? If I constructed a Circle from a series of holes in a Bolt Circle, that constructed feature would lie below the top_plane of the part. I am guessing, but wouldn't any attempt at linear measurement be skewed in -Z, making it a longer distance (hypotenuse). So for the sake of example, how would one project that bolt circle center point up to the top plane so they can take a true linear distance or caliper measurement? As always thank you all! 😃
[No...]
In the distance characteristic you can select whether you want the direct (3D) distance or the distance in X, Y or Z. So projection happens automatically.
[Ri...]
Drop in a Projection, select the circle and plane desired. You will now have a point from the center of the Circle at the desired Plane.
