6.6 upgrade true position corruption in programs

We updated to 2018 6.6 about 4 weeks ago and now have found that in programs saved from much earlier versions, that the true position features that use a primary, secondary, & tertiary datum have become corrupted and give wildly incorrect data as a result. The associated tetrahedron is inverted giving a clue as to which ones are corrupted.
We have proven that on a 5.6 version that this doesn't happen but on all 6.6 versions it does.
Has anyone else experienced this glitch and is there a "fix" at this time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this affects many programs that will take an extreme amount of time to repair one at a time.

Two things I can think of to try.
1.Change to an alignment relative to the feature and see if it returns to normal.
2. Disassociate the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary features, close the characteristic, reopen and re-associate Primary, Secondary and Tertiary features.
