assigning a "type" for my probe on simulation

I am having trouble figuring out how to assign this a type. It needs to say vast-XT to be able to be programmed on offline seat

Is this an imported SSC stylus or did you create it manually?
Honestly, I never had to care about the probe type. If the machine (resp. head) type of the CMM you're connected to is VAST XT, the manually created probes should be VAST XT as well. If you create it in SSC, first select "New", then you can select VAST XT as the probe head type. This should make all probes you build the VAST XT type too.
