Qualifying sphere with Master Probe Issue

Collision occurred on an off shift. The machine was shutdown and rebooted. However, we need to re-calibrate the stylus that was crashed. When trying to do this, a message keeps appearing that stats "The CNC qualification will be canceled as the qualification sphere being used is no valid. Please qualify the qualification sphere with the MasterProbe." However, when we change to the MasterProbe to qualify the qualification sphere, it does not allow us to Qualify Stylus... Any help will be appreciated as we have been down for a few hours now. Put in a ticket with Zeiss, but nothing so far.

Hi, Chris. Is your reference sphere permanently affixed to your inspection table or do you guys remove it after qualification? Sounds like you might need to either set the reference sphere's position with the Master Probe (then qualify your stylus) or reset the Master Probe itself (which will require you to set the reference sphere and qualify ALL styli).

Chris,

As Jake has mentioned, you don't want to load MasterProbe and then "Qualify Stylus". You want to load MasterProbe and select "Ref. Sphere Position". Hope this helps.
