[Ro...]
I have 6.6 but my sister plant has 6.1. I can open their programs but they cannot open a program i sent them. Is there a way i can save a program in 6.1, or 5.8?
[Ja...]
I have seen somebody mention on here that in the program folder there is a file called "version". I heard that opening this and changing the version number will allow somebody else to run the program from an older version of Calypso. I cannot verify this to be true but you may wish to try it out. [Da...]
It might also be helpful to change to certain compatibility before saving.compat.JPGcompat1.JPG

[Al...]
My off-line seat is 6.4 and 2 machines run 5.4; I use the compatibility settings as described above and programs run but I need to get a fresh model and tweak a couple of settings.
[se...]
I have used Dane's suggestion in previous backsave experiments but to no avail. Perhaps I'm missing something. The method of backsaving that worked for me was doing Dane's way, then editing the version file as Jacob mentions and was posted elsewhere. Not monkeying up production stuff mind you, just kicking the tires on (planner) 2018 and feeding it to 2017. So far, 2017 says it tastes OK....
