Hi everybody,

recently i've done a measurement on a cone connection of a spindle noses related to the ISO 702-1 .

As measurement' outputs with calypso, i've processed :

1) Cone angle;
2) Form of the cone;
3) Diameter at specified position on the main axis of the spindle shaft ;

I would like to share my idea about the strategy to use for a perfect measurement. This is what i've done:

Do you agree? Have you other suggests?

Is there anyone who knows more details about ISO 702-1, specifically about tollerances related to the cone (angle, form, profile, reference diameter ); I would like to know more about this, also regarding the correct way to quote a cone in a drawing;

Thank you so much for your cooperation! 🙂
