Apparently I have reached the "board attachment quota".... I'll try to explain what was on the picture. Close your eyes and imagine measuring 180° of an OD circle in the X axis with #2 probe and then the other 180° with the #4 probe. When looking at a roundness plot of this circle, the 2 paths appear to be offset from each other in the Z direction. Imagine how they would look if the plot would look if it was measured with the #3 probe as one complete circle. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The way I always test this is to place a ring gage up on the machine, and measure it with both probes, and see what the offset is. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
