Measuring circle with multiple probes

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to correct the problem shown below?

Sorry, no image. Apparently I have reached the "board attachment quota".... I'll try to explain what was on the picture. Close your eyes and imagine measuring 180° of an OD circle in the X axis with #2 probe and then the other 180° with the #4 probe. When looking at a roundness plot of this circle, the 2 paths appear to be offset from each other in the Z direction. Imagine how they would look if the plot would look if it was measured with the #3 probe as one complete circle. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Have you grouped the two segments? So it is treated as one path. Or what the heck its called in english. I do this alot and I never have any problems, even with tight tolerances.
Also, overlap them as much as possible.

I've seen this before. It usually is from "not as good" qualifications as you'd like.

The way I always test this is to place a ring gage up on the machine, and measure it with both probes, and see what the offset is.

If you're using an XXT i would guess its a qualification issue.
It happens quite a bit on my brown & sharpes, usually a requal fixes it fast.
but my Zeiss has an XT so i don't usually get those issues.
