Result Element?

I want to get text data into my report. When I try using Result Element it only allows numbers. Is there a way to change that? Or is there another tool I can use? Text element is not a choice because PiWeb doesn't see it.

What I am trying to do is add non CMM data to the report for bubble numbered prints where I might need non-numerical values, like part heat treated or anodized, Thread Plug passed, part deburred, etc...

I am trying to do it without PCM and using the Result element to populate the question.

Hm, I don't know of a way without PCM. My initial reaction is to suggest writing something like 5555 for 'Pass' and 6666 for 'Fail.' with 0 tolerance. In the PiWeb report you can use a condition so that 5555 will show as 'Pass' and 6666 will show as 'fail.'

I haven't tried it but you could try using like a measurement_end batch file to prompt the user and transmit the result.
