Result Element?

I want to get text data into my report. When I try using Result Element it only allows numbers. Is there a way to change that? Or is there another tool I can use? Text element is not a choice because PiWeb doesn't see it.

What I am trying to do is add non CMM data to the report for bubble numbered prints where I might need non-numerical values, like part heat treated or anodized, Thread Plug passed, part deburred, etc...

I am trying to do it without PCM and using the Result element to populate the question.

I'm unsure of a way to do it strictly through Calypso, but you could just use a Manual Input report in PiWeb.

You can use the result input with the result element.
It may not be exactly what you're wanting but, I'll post in case it might.
You just have to assign questions to equal a number for fail or pass and it will still report a number but, the question should report on the printout with the results element (may have to put question in the comment box to) and correlate with the number.

You have pushed me down a path...hopefully not a dark one 🤣

Manual Input might be my only option, still need to get it to go in the correct Bubble number location on the print. Using the result element as a place holder of some kind to fill in the bubble number, description, Sheet/Zone but then if the nominal value equals something generate a manual input box.

Sounds good in theory now to figure out how to....

Thinking if I make the nominal value for the result elements with text "999" then if nominal equals 999 replace display User Input box then type away.
