[Me...]
We have updated to 2018 and now whenever I open an existing program and possibly make a small modification then save all of my probe configurations switch (it was using a +Y probe and CP of -Y, Now is saying -Y probe and CP of -Y (still same CP)). Do I have a setting wrong or something??? 😠
[Wo...]
Something must be wrong, I've been at 2018 ever since it was released and nothing like that was happening. Do you have the latest service pack?
[An...]
When installing Calypso 2018, some files move to folders where they do not belong! was the same with me! Call the software support, they will do it in 2 minutes!
[Me...]
Found out that there was an issue with the way the install pulled the config file. Zeiss support helped out and now up and running again. 🤠
[Cl...]
I'm downloading 6.6 off the Zeiss portal right now and it is taking forever. How long should it take? It's been downloading for 30 minutes now.
[Cr...]
It took my unit about and hour to download it. 😐
[An...]
The download took me about 5 minutes, the installation about 15 minutes! The Zeiss support needed about 2 minutes to solve my file problem! In everything about 30 minutes until Calypso 2018 was ready for the first measurement! [Er...]
Amsterdam, still took me a good 20 minutes on a gigabyte connection. I guess the speed depends on how much traffic there is.

[Jo...]
We attempted upgrade to 2018 and lost the probe data. Now the Master Probe cannot even be manually picked up. If this file transfer issue exists for people upgrading, why hasn't it been fixed by now? Why are we having to call support to finish the installs? We down-graded back to our previous version until the service call is placed. Oh well...
[No...]
Make a backup in the old software version. It's under Extras, Settings, Miscellaneous(?), Maintenance(?) (? marks menu items whose English names I only guessed) If the new version doesn't migrate your old data correctly, restore the backup in the new version. Caution: This does not transfer base alignments or measurement plans. Just the basic config, probe data, protocol settings etc.
[An...]
when installing version 6.6 a file under program (x86) is copied to a path where it does not belong! This file only has to be copied into the correct folder and all data is available again, but I have no idea which file it is!
