Zeiss Login Hell

Begin rant...

What is the point of the 47 different logins needed by Zeiss to access their content? This forum, the portal, web shop, stylus shopping, etc? Seems like every time I want to access some Zeiss page I need to go through the Zeiss Lords of Approval.

I want to purchase some items from Zeiss. But I was denied access to buy something because I didn't use my work email address. I can't buy something from the web shop without having to be approved? WTF? Really?

So what do I need to do? It won't allow me to change my email in my profile so I guess I have to set up a new profile just so that I can give money to Zeiss?

Weak sauce. 😡

Dear Robert,

we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the different logins.
The reason for the different login processes is that the individual systems require different user verifications.
However, we can help you to change your email address so that you can shop in the webshop without any difficulties. Please go to https://id.zeiss.com/, log in and select the help area (small question mark in the upper right corner). Select the section "problems with login/ registration/ password" and type into the contact field that you want to change the email address as well as the work email address to which it should be changed.
