User accounts transfer

Hi guys. I have just done update from calypso 5.4 to calypso 6.6

I can't find the location where the users accounts are. I would like to copy them from old calypso to the new one. I have created some temporary account "operator" and when I searched in C: nothing comes up. Any ideas ?

Here would be my first starting point. If you go under C:Users\Public\PublicDocuments\Zeiss. Then if you go to your Calypso 5.4\Config there is a document that is titled values and possibly ami_users. I would copy these files and paste them into your Calypso 6.6 config folder and see if that solves the issue.

That should solve the issue, but it may also "solve" a few other unwanted ones.
Those "value" files are just "dumps" of data structures right from the heart of Calypso, so to speak. There are several of them, containig a lot of different stuff, the user accounts being only one among many other things.

So, try it, but expect to get a few other settings "adjusted".

Do a search in the C Drive for one of the user names. Each user should have a folder with that name on it in a folder called "Users". In 6.6 it is in the C:\ProgramData\Zeiss\CALYPSO 6.6\users. It is a hidden directory.

I did copy to this location, but calypso did not see them. I do not want to copy any other files a part of users folders as this will affect something else. I have done it before.

As far as I know, the user directories mentioned only store user specific settings like custom toolbars etc.
But the information about existing users is still kept in that values file.
