[De...]
Yes, there are a multitude of ways to accomplish this. The simplest of these is to use the menu and navigate to: Resources -> Name for output files -> ... for this measurement plan. Once there you will get a dialog box. There is a dropdown for 'Output File' which lets you choose what type of file you want to change the settings for. Once you choose a file type, you can choose the checkbox on the right for 'Name of output file variable' You can then set a definition for what the output file should be named in the textbox below. You can define a specific location based on your needs. You can use pcm functions in the name like getRecordHead("planid") which yields the Measurement plan Name and getRecordHead("partnbinc") which yields a incremental part number. To see a list of different items that can be used you can search the help for Printout Header Data. This allows you to build a dynamic filename which can be named on a number of things. The only drawback of this method is you need to define a different path for every program you have. Another option is to define a path like this under the setting for all measurement plans off of the menu - you need to be the Master user to do this. Once that is done you can then just check the Name of output file variable checkbox and then the from all measurement plans checkbox.
