[La...]
Whats the best way to evaluate edm electrodes' runout using an Erowa reference probe on CMM? I have an Erowa chuck, a reference ball (dia. 5mm) and many many electrodes. I dont want to measure the ball any time I measure an electrode. Using the Erowa chuck grinded Z0 is not the best choice because of the height difference (100mm) of the chuck and the electrodes reference planes (XY), it caused false data many times (compared to the measurements we made on the edm machine). Do I have to create any plane feature to specify a spatial plane when I measure the reference ball or Its enough to create a sphere feature to X0;Y0? As I know I can load this alignment. Whitch way does it evaluates when I use this loaded alignment? Whats the best way you suggest?
