I finally figured out a way to write a program to calibrate all of the probes in the rack, but is there a way to report the results when it is done.

Hello Rachel,

if you use the standard calibration function of Calypso, just use the Default printout. You have to start this one manually because the CNC start menu does not show it. Otherwise, you can start the measurement without ANY printouts and plots activated. At the end, you will get your calibration protocol automatically.

This is just one of many uses for the programmable stop. Say you have a program
where the operator has to remove, or install a flex plug. Insert a programmable stop
(with a position point) in the feature before the feature measuring the flex plug.
Here you can instruct the operator to install, or replace it.

how mutch sigma value we can have to have a aceptable stylus, i had a small colision withh a D6L100 stylus with the body carbon fiber i had previous sigma values before colision 0.0002, afte rcolision i have values between 0.0008 to 0.0014 depending of the angular position.

Anyone can help me ?

Hi Luis - What type of stylus is it and what type of qualification are you using? Typically for most standard stylus, I would recommend not exceeding 0.001mm sigma. However, CAA qualifications or long skinny stylus could exceed that and be just fine. Since it is following a collision, I may recommend running some tests on known parts or gages to ensure that everything is measuring normally rather than relying solely on the sigma numbers.
