[Ca...]
I'm getting ready to upgrade from 6.4 to 6.6. As best I can tell, from my notes from prior upgrades, I need to copy the config, workarea, and protocol folders. I think I need to grab my probes too, but I don't have any notes about that, I can probably just export them. Will someone please confirm the folders, AND their file paths, so I'm sure I get everything? FYI, I have a 0% success rate at upgrading software, I always end up on the phone with Zeiss. I'm hoping today's the day for success.
[Cl...]
I have never had a problem. Simply uninstall old version, install new version.I have in the past (at Zeiss's suggestion) copy and save the entire Zeiss folder before uninstalling Calypso. [Cl...]
Should be as simple as that. Like I said, I've never had any problems.
[Cl...]
Casey, how did the upgrade go?
[Ca...]
Both seats when flawlessly! Thanks Clarke (and Tom O.) the help! I uninstalled the Licence Utility (probably wasn't necessary), and Calypso, then reinstalled the new Licence Utility. I activated my licences first, then install Calypso. I'm not sure if it matters, but in the past I've installed Calypso first, then the licences. Maybe that's why I had trouble in the past??
