Hole pattern as a datum

I have tried searching this forum and google for a solution but without luck.
I am having a datum that is four cylinders. How can I combine them as a single feature so I am able to choose them as my datum.

I think the best way to do this is to create a secondary alignment, then best fit the cylinders to it based on what degrees of freedom they constrain. Then reference the alignment instead of the individual datum features in your characteristic. If you give me specifics of what the DRF looks like, I could walk you through it a little better.
