Have you tried creating a template? We have a measurement plan with that we save that has all of our filters. Instead of selecting "create new measurement plan" you can just open your template then "save as" for your new program. I would assume the large icon not being selected will transfer.

I am sure that it is not a 'problem' as much as it an annoyance to have to change a setting over and over.

I also have a template program I use to avoid this so common settings can be applied when creating a program.

Derek- Thanks for the reply I have now just created a template and will now use it. We just get long programs with a lot of info on them and now that we are switched over to the latest software (nightmare) all the previous programs that were already saved with small icons are now large.

To prevent accidentally screwing up your template, open the template folder and right click on "inspection", select Properties and tick the "Read Only" checkbox. If you need to edit the template, just simply un-tick it, save it, re-tick it...LOL

You will find the template useful for many other things. I started using a template program when I found myself going through a list of the things for every new program; filter/outlier defaults, define excel printout, results to file/save measured points, default retract distance to zero, and I would set up everything in my definition of multiple print out to the point that all I have to add is the location I want it to export to.

Well, Jason, that was one of the easy settings that doesn't require a template. Extras - Settings - Measurement - Travel
