Calypso 2018 6.6 Questions

I've just received a new Gagemax with Calypso 2018. This is my first time using 2018, and I have two questions. The first is that every 10-15 seconds(ish), regardless of what I'm doing, a Default Printout window that details the feature I'm working with, will open. If I close it, a new one will open, usually the next time I click on anything. If I minimize it, or otherwise hide it, a new one will not open. How can I disable this????

My second question is VERY simple. Where do I enable adding a part number in the Input Parameter window? I feel like this is a VERY basic thing to do, and I have it on all of my other Calypso seats, but I can't find the toggle in Calypso 2018.

See attached.

GageMax or DuraMax

In the Multiple Printout window, Select printout header parameters. But you may have to go to Resources - Printout Header Parameters to enter the value. Or in Header data window in the Run window.

Are you using PiWeb or Custom Printout?

Default Printout issues. I think this is an issue that was going to be resolved in a service pack, which is available for download.

Q2
The Inputs are gathering data for your header, you must edit your VPHEAD.GRA file and add "part number" to the header.
This is very easy, but if you've never done it the Editor can be very sketchy at best.

Resources > Design Custom Printout > Printout Head
then go to file open and open "Protoform\Default\vphead.gra" or if you're using a different printout you may have to search around for maybe "protform\default_compressed_tolicon\vphead.gra"....
its in there somewhere.

Duramax, my mistake. I have done some header editing, but not for about a year. Set it and forget it. Could I copy something over from another Calypso machine, or are 2017 and 2018 not compatible?

Thanks for the help!

Casey, you can just copy the folder over. I edit all of my headers on one CMM then copy the folder over to the rest.

Tom and Roberto are right on. I used to have a little procedure written up for editing those with some picture but I can't find it at the moment. I'm still looking and will post when I find it.

Tom,
I got 2 of those workbenches quoted and approved for next years budget. Thanks man.
